Sun Worship are an enigmatic band from Germany who apparently only release 2-song EPs. Their latest offering Surpass Eclipse consists of almost 14 minutes of post-black metal melodies delivered with great passion and skill. The atmospheric tremolo riffs abound, the drumming is heavy and hypnotic, the guitar tone is more buzzy than Marco after drinking a cup of coffee, the vocals are high screeches buried in the mix and I’m willing to bet the lyrics are about the sun.
