Refractions’ smacks of alternative rock with heavy doses of fuzz and reverb. These
guys know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to mixing the alternative rock that
came to the fore in the early ’90s with more typical elements of shoegaze and noise
rock. His proposal is reminiscent of the sounds of bands like No More Lies, Hüsker Dü,
Pixies, DZ Deathrays and Nothink
