Description
A Ghost in Rags have been playing instrumental post-metal since 2018. The band combines classic post-rock with powerful doom parts, black metal riffs and sludge elements.
The excellently recorded debut album from 2022 with its four long epics impresses with its gravitational density, the unpredictable breaks and the interplay of hypnotically formulated ambient soundscapes, expansive sludge tendencies and psychedelically founded post-rock landscapes, which, in the line-up of two guitars, bass and drums, build to enormous crescendos and never let up in their intensity.
